Registration closes 1 hour before race time, No one will be allowed to register after tech closed, which means you must have paperwork completed and fees paid. This is the driver's responsibility! There will be no refunds after regisration is closed. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Classes will be run in reverse order, (First to register will run last in class)
- Everyone will race according to our rules and regulations. Any condition considered unsafe or unfair by the race officials is grounds for disqualification. Unsportsman like conduct will NOT be allowed. Any complaints or disputes must be brought to the attention of the race director within 20 minutes of said class finishing. Any disputes in racing must be made by another racer in the same class.
- All drivers and co-drivers must attend the driver's meeting. All drivers must have a valid drivers license. Drivers between the age of 16 and 17 must have a valid driver's license and a parent's signature. Co-drivers between 15 &17 must have parent signature, ATV drivers between 14-17 must have parent signature and ATV certification.
- No intoxicants in the race area (pit fence to spectator fence). No driver or co-driver is permitted to drink alcoholic beverages before they are done racing for the day, or they will be disqualified and lose all winnings for the day.
- Vehicles must be put in nuetral while being hooked up, unhooked and while pullled out of the race area.
- No vehicle shall make a run without approval of the starter.
- Keep all four tires inside the track markers or the run will be disqualified.
- All vehicles must be staged when called. A vehicle with a breakdown has five (5) minutes and a race official must be notified or the run will be scratched.
- A vehicle and driver may race once per class.
- In the event of a tie for the drags, the fastest second pass wins.
- All classes are determined by the largest measured size of the tires. Tires must be D.O.T. approved, except Modified, Pro Open and Open Class. Cutting or altering of the tires is allowed in Modified, Pro Open and Open classes only. Tractors and scoops are allowed in Open Classes only.
- Vehicles must have the tire diameter that fits the class for the drags; smaller tires are allowed in larger tire classes.
- All vehicles must have working brakes. All drivers and co-drivers must wear lap and shoulder belts, as well as, DOT approved helmets while racing. Drivers and co-drivers must have eye protection when racing in vehicles without windshields and doors. All vehicles with removable tops that are removed and soft-tops must have a roll bar. A solid firewall and floor pan is required on all vehicles. Headers must point in a safe direction; they cannot point toward the spectators.
- All race classes must have a shoulder harness and a lap belt of at least O.E.M. qualifications, regardless of what year the vehicle is.
- All vehicles must have a kill or ignition switch within reach when the driver is strapped in. A neutral safety switch is required. No vehicle should be left unattended while running.
- All competing vehicles must have a securely mounted fire extinguisher within driver's reach. Every vehicle must have its own fire extinguisher. Sharing of fire extinguishers will not be permitted.
- Tow hooks required on the front and rear of the vehicle for the drags. No chains or cables allowed.
- After market turbos and blowers are allowed in Open classes only. After market fuel injection, nitrous oxide and multiple carbs will be allowed in Pro Open, Modified and Open Classes. After market fuel injections will count as 2 modifications in Street Stock, Super Stock, Pro Stock Limited and Pro Stock.
- Only pump fuel will be allowed. Such as Cam 2, Turbo Blue etc. If questionable, we the Lakeshore 4 Wheelers reserve the right to test fuel at any time. Alcohol fuel will be allowed in Mod, Open and Pro Open. Those running alcohol will be required to wear a approved fire suit and full face protection and have an on board fire extinguisher system.
- All vehicles must have 4-wheel drive.
- It will be the driver's responsibility to bring proof of any modification, such as motor swaps, carb, intake etc. We also reserve the right to re-tech any truck at any time.
- Fire suits and full face protection must be worn by drivers and co-drivers in a vehicle with an open engine.
- All drivers must compete with the vehicle that they registered at the beginning of the day. However, if your vehicle becomes inoperative you may subsitute with another vehicle within the same classification.
- It is highly recommended that engine compartments be made easily accessible in case of fire.
- Motor swaps will be determined by the chassis.
- Any damage to the clubs equipment is drivers responsibilty.
